Description
A black and white photograph of a Chinese dragon carried in a parade in the Los Angeles Chinatown, Frank L. Park, 1899. The view is taken from an elevated position and shows men moving the traditional colorful paper dragon through a dirt street, possibly Apablasa Street, in the Chinese neighborhood now the site of Union Station. Simple wood and brick structures, some with signs in Chinese letters, line the road. The overall condition is good despite the minor warping.
