A Christmas and New Year's gift box, 1927. The flat, unused item has panels with vignettes showing Christmas scenes, such as children playing with gifts, Santa Claus on his sleigh and climbing down a chimney, and a few others. The phrases "A Merry Christmas" and "A Happy New Year" are on the two larger panels. A frayed string holder is attached to one panel. Inscribed on a side panel is a penciled ""school / 3rd grade / 1927." With an abraded area on the panel with the string, some creases, areas of soiling and edge rubbing, the overall condition is good.
