Description
A Christmas card from Mr. and Mrs. Reynold Blight, Los Angeles, 1910. The card has a gold embossed letter "B" at the bottom right, a message, the holiday name "Xmas" and year, and the couple's Los Angeles address. Blight, a native of England, was an insurance man who also held a pastorate at a Los Angeles church which was taken over after his resignation by spiritualist Manly P. Hall. Blight was also involved in civic and political positions in the city. With some soiling, a few small stains and edge rubbing, the overall condition is good.
