Description
A "Christmas Jinks" postcard from the Los Angeles County Medical Association, published by the Specialty Souvenir Company, Los Angeles, December 1913. The front has a red-colored photographic view of downtown Los Angeles from Angels' Flight. Below that is a comedic poem about various ways to pronounce the city's name, by a "F.W.W." On the reverse in the message area is the association name, the title "Christmas Jinks," the date of December 18, 1913, and a mock prescription with a signature line for a doctor. At the bottom is a postscript, asking "When are you coming to Southern California?" The postally unused card has some stains, abrasions, soiling and rubbing and is in fair condition.
