A Christmas postcard album, patented March 1876. The item consists only of the boards, which are covered in a black paper, on which the front has an embossed design of four Santa Claus figures in different poses, including one coming out a chimney and the other putting a gift from a sack on his back into a stocking. There are holly berries and leaves in the design, as well. The back has a central image of a holiday bow. With much wear, including chipping, abrasions, rubbing, soiling, and stains, as well as the boards separated, the condition is poor.
