A press photograph of a circus couple preparing for a dance marathon, Los Angeles, 11 April 1927. Gertrude Hall, who was 7'3" and "Sky High" Madison (R.E. Madsen), at 7'6", are shown in a dance pose, while another couple, described as "ordinary sized", are in a dance pose underneath them. The group are captured near the circus "big top" tent. The photo, from International Newsreel, has a pasted-down caption, press stamp, and other inscriptions and markings on the reverse. With some soiling and edge abrasion, the condition is good.
