Description

A clipping from D.A. Mizener's advertising pamphlet for real estate in the Whittier district of Caliornia, ca. 1918. Descriptions of 5 properties are present; however, none of their prices have been specified. Each property is comprised of land from 1 or more lots in Orchard Dale, and all are below 10 acres in size. The listings are designated as numbers 387 (Lot 29), 2002 (Lot 6 and half of Lot 5), 2003 (Lot 16), 2005 (Lot 33), and 2006 (Lot 35). 3 of the properties, numbers 2003, 2002, and 387, are stamped as having been "Sold." Numbers 2002 and 2003 are described as having English walnut crops. A heading on the front side of the document reads "Seventh and Spring Streets, Los Angeles." A handwritten note on the front side states that John Niemeier put in concrete pipes and did good work. With minor abrasion damage, a fold, two creases, pin holes, a stain, early signs of foxing, and moderate acid burns, the object is in good to fair condition overall.
