Description
A closeup view of a Maddux Air Lines plane at San Diego, 16 March 1929. The view shows most of the wing and fuselage of the Los Angeles-based craft with a pilot and passengers in view through the windows as the plane is parked on the tarmac. In the distance, are some low hills nearby the airfield. On the reverse in pencil is "San Diego Airport/ Plane leaving / for / Los Angeles / Mar - 16- 1929." With some minor soiling and a crease or two, the condition is good.
