Description
A colored lantern slide of five persons at a granite outcropping in Eaton Canyon, San Gabriel Mountains, likely C. C. Pierce & Co., Los Angeles, ca. 1900s. The image shows the group, four of which stand behind and lean on the outcropping and which include a man, woman and two teen boys, while another woman leans with her eyes closed on the rocky area to the right. This latter is the "Lucy" of item .4 of this accession and some of the others may be in other images. Pierce's ID is not on the image, but is other similar ones here. The condition is good.
