Description
A commercial photograph of the Barker Bros. building in Los Angeles, 16 April 1925. Photograph taken by Dwyer Studio, Los Angeles. View of the foundation of the building still under construction. Trenches have been dug for the placement of piles in the ground. Several small flatbed trucks are being filled with soil. Construction has started on one side from a stack of lumber. The building was designed by Curlett and Beelman, built by Scofield Engineering Construction Company with a 99 year lease with Sun Realty Co. With minor surface soiling at right edge, and moderate warping, the photo is in good condition overall.
