Description

A copy of a letter from J.L. Blankenship in Shattuck, Oklahoma to Edwin G. Hart in Los Angeles, California. 12 May 1917. Since a previous agency contract has expired, Mr. Blankenship authorizes Mr. Hart to sell a particular property for $1,625 per acre. Mr Blankenship explains that Mr. Hart is free to designate his own commission, though he clarifies that 5% is generally considered to be satisfactory. Mr. Blakenship also expects that, if Mr. Smith sells the property in the next 60 days, Mr. Hart will give him a 2.5% commission. With minor acid burns, a rust stain, and a minor tear, the object is in good condition overall.
