A copy of a tax assessment list for the property of William Workman for the year 1865, 23 May 1865. The items include his half of Rancho La Puente, including improvements and the vineyard; 400 cattle; 295 horses; mules; wagons; buggies; carts and oxen; farming tools; furniture and interests in the Rancho Potrero Chico, the "Scott Ranch" on Rancho Verdugo, the Hancock vineyard in Los Angeles, and Hancock's ranch (Rodeo de las Aguas--see the earlier document in this accession.) The total is $10,800. With moderate edge tears, creases, small stains and soiling, the condition is fair.
