Description
A dancer or actor from the Mission Play, ca. 1920s. The woman is in front of a drop cloth or sheet and is posed with her arms extended within a black lace shawl and is in a costume for the play. It may be one of the Vigare sisters, of whom Juanita, who this is not, was a principal dancer and choreographer with husband Juan Zorraquinos. With some silvering, album paper residue and light soiling, the condition is good.
