Description
A deed from Adam Elliott to William W. Temple, 24 May 1879. The transaction from the Ventura County resident to Temple was for one-half the New Constitution mine in the Piru district at the eastern end of the county. This appears to be Temple's copy written in his hand and witnessed by W.S. Frazier. By the next year, Temple had joined the Army and left the area and did not return until some thirty years later. With folds, small tears, small stains and creases, the condition is good.
