Description

A destroyed oil tank from a fire near Los Angeles, ca. 1920s. The image shows a man on part of the collapsed walls which are turned inward toward the tank. The lid lies behind the tank on top of elevated pipe lines, at which three other men are standing. In the distance are other structures, pipelines and tanks, as well as electric power lines. There is no identification. With a tear at the bottom right corner, a crease at the upper right corner, some light soiling and curvature, the overall condition is good.
