Description
A directory for the Los Angeles District of the California Federation of Women's Clubs for 1928-1929. The lyrics to the official federation song, "America The Beautiful" is on the first page, followed by a "club convention litany" and a dedication page that lists current directors. Lists of officers in the general (national) and state federations, district members of the state committee, past presidents, officers of county boards, and committees then are given. Finally, there are messages from national, state and district presidents and county and committee chairs before listings of district clubs begins on page 63 and continues to 138, by county. At the end are the articles of incorporation, general information and program listing for the year. Wear is very slight to the wrappers and pages are clean with a tight binding, so the condition is good.
