Description
A "Discontinuance Notice" from Wells Fargo and Company Express, Los Angeles, 27 March 1916. The preprinted form has space for the employee name; position; location of office and route; which railroad; bond amount; salary; and reason for "why discontinued," in this case, illness. On the back is a printed statement about a change in the company's employee list and the effect on the surety for the worker's bond. With holes at the top center and upper left, browning and creases, the overall condition is good.
