Description

A document from James H. Lander and Charles V. Howard to William Workman as guardian of Walter Drown, 4 November 1865. The items is mainly a list of law books taken by Myron Norton and those retained as the sole property of Norton's former law partner and Walter's father, Ezra Drown, who died in 1863, leaving Walter an orphan. He was raised with Workman as guardian and lived often with the Temple family, as late as the 1880s as foreman at the Homestead for Francis W. Temple. With a stain, light soiling and creases, the condition is good.
