A draft letter from William Workman to Agnes Workman Vickers, 8 February 1847. The draft from Workman, addressed from Los Angeles, to his sister, residing in Baltimore, has the same opening paragraph rendered three times about not hearing from her since their father died four years before and a closing section about the brother of Workman's son-in-law, F.P.F. Temple, sending $100, and wishing to be remembered to his son, Joseph, who was living with Agnes. With some stains, minor foxing, a minor fold, and creases, the condition is good.Lexicon
