Description
A farm house at Charter Oak, Covina, California, ca. 1920s. The image was taken about ten feet away from the side of the house. In view is a pitched roof with a thin, short chimney. At an awning that appears to be above an enclosed back end of the house, next to it is a two paneled window most likely the kitchen area, in the middle is a larger window and toward the right is an enclosed porch. An automobile is parked in the front of the house on the right of the image. The one-story simple wood frame residence is set among what are almost certainly orange trees in a grove. Behind the house is a large tree, at the foreground is tall grass. The overall condition is good despite the moderate warping and minor stains.
