2006.321.1.1Description
A Federal Knight delivery truck for Standard Nut Margarine Company, Los Angeles, by Dan P. Watts, 1926-27. The view is a close-up of the vehicle, which is parked at the side of a residential street with dense landscaping and what appears to be a house in the background. The sides of the truck have a photographic image and text for the Standard oleomargarine product and the company name, address, and phone number. On the reverse, which is a linen backing, is a stamp for the photographer with his name, address, and phone number, as well as an inscription "Standard Nut Margarine Co. 1926-1927. Federal Truck." With small missing portions of corners, a few stains, and light soiling, the condition is good.Lexicon
