Description
A female performer from the Mission Play, ca. 1920s. The actor or dancer, perhaps principal dancer and choreographer Juanita Vigare Zorraquinos, stands in costume in a landscaped area, presumably at the playhouse site in San Gabriel. Inscribed at the top is "Mission Play." On the reverse is a stamp from The Photo Shop in Alhambra. With slight warping and light soiling, the condition is good.
