A film location shoot still with actor Josephine Marie Workman and other actors, ca. 1915. The view shows Workman, not in her Princess Mona Darkfeather Indian costume, but, instead, performing in one of a series of shorts about the explorer Henry Stanley in Africa. She is atop an elephant and holding a rifle, while an actor, likely playing Stanley, stands next to the animal and holds her hand. Other actors and Black extras, playing Africas are in the scene, with grass huts also nearby. With many losses, tears, fading, severe damp staining and heavy soiling, the condition is poor.
