Description
A photograph of a float in the La Fiesta de Los Angeles parade in California. 1897. The float is covered in flowers and is made to look like a rock or tree stump covered in spider webs. Sitting on the float are little girls dressed as fairies. There are men walking next to and behind the float. Crowds can be seen on both sides of the street and there are people in the windows and on the fire escape of the building. With some wear on the top edge, yellowing and fading, the object is in good condition overall.
