Description
A framed architectural drawing of La Puente District Grammar School, South El Monte, ca. 1920s. The drawing (a) shows the front of the school erected during the 1920s. The school building appears to be Spanish Colonial Revival style. With heavy silverfish damage and loss along the edges, warping, a tear a the top right of the canvas, moisture stains, dust throughout, it is in poor condition. The wooden frame (b) has numerous scratches, discoloration of the wood, rusted nails holding the drawing to the frame and a paper backing with heavy embrittlement, it is in fair condition. The drawing will be removed and housed separately from the wooden frame for preservation purposes.
