Description

A framed, panorama photograph of Anita M. Baldwin's throughbred horses at the Panama Pacific International Exposition, San Francisco, 1915. The horse types include Arabians, Percherons, Jack and Jennets. Twenty six pairs of horses with their jockeys are spread out in a line at the center of a stadium. The jockeys are uniformed as are the men holding banners. At the center of the photograph is a table with two large trophies. At the entrance of the stadium is a crowd of spectators, as well as in the stands. In the distance, a large, classical style building is visible. An automobile is parked at a distance behind the line of horses. The photograph is framed in a wooden frame with a glass cover. Overall in good condition, the glass is somewhat loose in the frame and should be handled with caution.
