Description
A framed photograph of four of the children of Maria Boyle Workman (1847-1933) and William Henry Workman (1839-1918). The young girls are huddled at the center of the photograph, with the oldest in the back of the three younger girls. The girls are not identified in the photograph, but are presumably the four girls of the family: Mary Julia Workman (1871-1964), Elizabeth A. Workman (b. 1872), Charlotte Nancy Workman (b. 1879), Caroline Gertrude Workman (1885-1972). The photograph is enclosed in a wood frame, painted silver, with a glass window and cardboard backing, wire line for hanging. With moderate yellowing and fadings, the object is in fair condition.
