Description
A carte de visite studio portrait of young girl, Parker and Company, Los Angeles, ca. 1878. The image shows the child, approximately nine years old, standing with her harm resting against a curio table. She wears a white dress with scalloped sleeves and has a dark-colored scarf worn like a tie. On the reverse is the printed cartouche for the photographer, whose office was in the Downey Block. With a few very small stains, light soiling, an acid burn at the bottom of the reverse, and minor edge rubbing, the condition is good.
