Description
A gated entrance to a residential neighborhood, Los Angeles, ca. 1904. The view shows an elaborately ornamented gate and fence with openings for vehicular and pedestrian traffic. At the left of center is part of a large wooden two-story home, largely hidden by trees in its yard. The dirt street moves off towards the right. A pencil inscription on the reverse reads, "Cal - Los Angeles." With some minor soiling, a few small stains, and moderate darkening of the image the condition is good to fair.
