Description
A glass negative of a horse-drawn vehicle entered in the La Fiesta de Los Angeles parade, 1897. The image shows the conveyance parked next to a fence near some trees, apparently in a residential area. A banner reads "Mexico / 1897" and is in the vehicle, while a horse-drawn carriage is on an adjacent street. The number "195" is inscribed at the lower left corner. With edge flaking not materially affecting the image, the condition looks to be good.
