Description

A glass negative of a part of the Los Angeles Chinatown, ca. 1900s. The view takes in part of one side of a street with its series of mainly two-story brick structures most of them with covered wooden balconies. Signs in Chinese and, occasionally, English are posted on most of the structures. There are also a few horse-drawn vehicles parked down the street, as well. There is some loss of emulsion at the top left corner, but the condition appears good.
