A glass negative of the building of The Gamut Club, Los Angeles, ca. 1918. The building was located at 1044 S. Hope Street and housed a 668-seat auditorium, music and banquet room and artists' studios, with its diverse architectural styles including Neoclassical, Mediterranean and others. A pamphlet on the history, membership and officers of the organization, which was founded in 1904, served the city's musical community, is item .1 of the accession. As broken in two pieces, the condition is poor.
