Description
A group gathered around a truck at Hammond Lumber Yard, Los Angeles, August 1927. The truck has a partially-concealed banner on it that includes "1927 Champion Star" and there are groups of men gathered in what may be a parking area in the yard, which includes large warehouses and a water tower. An ink inscription on the revrse gives the location and date, but not the event. There is some soiling and edge rubbing, but the overall condition is good.
