Description

A photograph of a group holding kindling wood at the Workman Homestead, California in 1912. There are two men and women standing behind a wheel barrel that is filled with kindling wood with some of the men holding the wooden pieces. There appears to be a small child sitting in the wheel barrel. Behind the group is a wooden fence, trees and a view of a valley. The land once belonged to William Workman was formerly known as Rancho La Puente. With moderate discoloration, fading and warping, heavy soiling from adhesive residue on the back, the object is in fair condition.
