A cabinet card photograph of a group in front of a Queen Anne-style farmhouse by Garden City Foto Company, Los Angeles, 1890s. The view shows the small house with two women and five children posed on the walk between the street and the front door. A hedge divided by an entrance, some landscaping, a shed and other outbuildings and a windmill (with the name "Star Mill" on the tail. The first names of those posed are inscribed on the ink on the reverse, but with no surnames. The photography studio's name and address are on the front and reverse with other information. With some edge rubbing, dented corners, soiling and some stains, the overall condition is good.
