Description
A photo of people on mules at Mount Wilson, California, 1896. There are nine mules and a group of men and women on a mountain trail. To their left is a rocky cliff and to their right is a rocky cliff face and shrubs. It appears that one woman is ridding a sidesaddle where the rest are ridding stock saddles. There is writing on the back, which reads "On the Mt. Wilson Trail Calif./ 1896 / A.H. Leonard on leading / horse (mule)." With a piece missing from the top left and bottom right, abrasion on all edges, and there appears to be adhesive in the four corners on the back and moderate discoloration, the object is in fair condition overall.
