Description
A real photo postcard of a group of persons at the Arroyo Seco in the foothills at Pasadena, July 1908. The cyanotype (blue-tinted image) shows the dry rocky bed of the creek with what appears to be part of a wooden structure at the right resting against the mountainside. A few small figures are noted on the hillside and in the creekbed. There is a message on the reverse of the unused card reading:"from Mother July 1908 / A Place on the / Arroyo Seco Close to / Pasadena." With minor soiling and edge abrasion, the condition is good.
