Description
A photograph of a group with a display of oranges taken at the Workman Homestead, California, dated 20 April 1912. The people are identified starting from left to right, Daisy King, Frank Harfrine (sp?), Eugene Bassett and sitting at the bottom right is Norman King. The group stand in front of a tree and are posed with a display of oranges in a crate and in baskets. The citrus fruit may have been harvested from the same trees that William Workman planted originally when he lived and owned the land known as Rancho La Puente. There is an identifying stamp on the crated that appears to have the letters W.F.G.A. With minor fading, warping and stains from adhesive residue on the back, it is in good condition overall.
