A half-size studio portrait of a young man by W. L. Brush, East Los Angeles, 1890s. The man wears a dark, striped suit and vest and a white shirt, collar and tie, the latter having some kind of decorative pin on it, as well. Brush was a photographer in what is now known as Lincoln Heights, the original East Los Angeles. There is much foxing on the reverse and the image has soiling, but the condition is generally good.
