Description
A hand painted studio portrait of a woman, inserted in a protective folder, Los Angeles, ca. 1910. The photograph was taken by Hemenway Photos in the Auditorium Bldg., Los Angeles. The woman is at the center of the photograph wearing a wide brimmed hat to the side of her head. She has a high collar with ruffles at the chest and a light jacket. The photograph is inserted into a paper folder with the photographer's stamp on the outside. There is minor silvering, acid burn, warping, and surface soiling to the folder, but overall in good condition.
