A head and upper torso portrait of "AJ," by Frank G. Schumacher, Los Angeles, 24 September 1892. The mustachioned man is dressed in a dark three-piece suit, white shirt, and a wide white tie. Schumacher's name, city and logo are at the bottom and an elaborate printed area with his name and address is on the reverse. A pencil inscription reads "AJ Sep 24, 1892" and, in ink, next to this, "21 yrs." With foxing, soiling, stains, edge rubbing and adhesive damage on the reverse, the condition is fair.
