Description
A cabinet photograph of a horse-drawn tanker from Union Oil Company of California, ca. 1890s. The image is a closeup view of the wagon with its large cylindrical black tank, with the name of the company on the side, on the bed. The driver sits beneath a raised cover and there are two horses harnessed to the front. In the background are some homes, but it is not known where the location is. With staining to the right edge of the image and stains, soiling, and edge rubbing to the mount, the overall condition is fair.
