Description
A lantern side of Spring Street, Los Angeles, ca. 1910s. The German published image is taken from Fifth Street and takes in much of the eastern side of Spring to Fourth, including the Braly (Union Trust) Building and other commercial structures. In the corner at the foreground is an elevated police observation tower, while the sidewalks and streets are filled with pedestrian and horse-drawn and gas-powered vehicles. The condition is fair with many chipped section on the image and margins.
