Description
A lantern slide advertisement for the film "The Call of the Wild," 1914. The image has the film title at the top, the statement that it was a two-part feature by the Kalem Film Company, another that it was "A Thrilling Western Indian Drama," and on the margin an identification of the General Film Company and its slide department. A scene from the movie shows star Princess Mona Darkfeather [Josephine M. Workman] seated on the ground with an actor playing an Indian man with his arms around her. Behind them are some other tepees and other actors in Indian costume. The condition appears to be good.
