Description
A lantern slide of San Gabriel Valley orange orchards, ca. 1910s. The colored image shows rows of trees below a gently-sloping hill from which the photo was taken and on which is an oak tree with newly-budded leaves. In the distance is farmland, some structures and hills. There is a handwritten caption at the right and printed info from the Chicago public schools, as well as an identification number on the reverse. The condition is good overall.
