Description
A large cabinet card photograph of a group on a horse-drawn carriage at the entrance to Elysian Park, W. H. Graham, Los Angeles, 19 February 1901. The view shows the vehicle and team of six horses stopped on a dirt road leading from the park and near another roadway to the right. An ornate marker is behind the horses and between the heads of two of them are the letters "YSIAN" on a face of the monument. Three names are written in the space above the group and eleven more on the reverse, all in pencil. At the bottom is the cartouche of the photographer and his location. With some soiling and small stains on the image, stains at the upper right corner of the mount and edge rubbing, the overall condition is good.
