Description
A ledger listing state and county school funds for Monte School District, Los Angeles School District, San Gabriel School District, San Juan, Santa Ana, beginning in 1854 to 1858. The ledger details each districts yearly balance as well as transactions and paid amounts corresponding to dates. The ledger is filled with ink inscriptions in the first third pages, the rest are blank. At the end of the volume are two loose sheets, removed from the ledger. The volume is in poor condition, broken binding taped together at the spine, cover abrasion, loose sheets. Loss in leather spine, front cover is detached. The volume comprises of marbled paper covered boards and a leather spine strip.
