Description

A letter (a) and envelope (b) from a woman in Monterey Park, California to her daughter, Ruby Folger, 10 May 1926. The letter deals with potential family moving to the coast, a denial to drill for oil on lots owned by the writer, and other news. The envelope is addressed to a Wollaston, Massachusetts addressed and has a two-cent stamp, postmark and cancellation, as well as a return address of North Garfield Avenue in Monterey Park. The letter has original half folds and some ink stains, while the letter has the tear, some rubbing and creases, so the overall condition is good.
