Description

A letter (a) and envelope (b) from Nettie Friend de Temple to Walter P. and Laura G. Temple, 19 May 1918. The missive is from the widow of Walter's brother, Thomas, and asked why they and his sister, Lucinda Zuñiga, had not visited, suggesting they were concerned she'd ask for money. She added that she would not mail a painting, presumably the one of Thomas W. Temple that is in this accession, unless in a tube. With folds, a small stain, a few creases and light soiling, the condition is fair, as is the envelope with creases, soiling, and wear.
