Description
A letter (a) and envelope (b) from Thomas W. Temple II to Walter P. and Laura G. Temple, 18 April 1918. The missive from the 13 year-old is from the Pasadena Military Academy and asks about family and requests a visit on the weekend, while briefly mentioning his studies. This was about ten months after the first Temple oil well came in, allowing for his parents to send him to private school. With folds, creases and very light soiling to the letter and edge wear, very light soiling and minor creasing to the envelope, the condition of each is good.
